The standard quality are bales weighing 250/260 kg each and 40 ft. HC containers with around 26 tonnes payload.
A number of markets require bales weighing 100 kg each (40 ft. container with around 24 tonnes payload), which can of course be delivered as well.
The abbreviation DB stands for “double brushed” and indicates that fibres are brushed after drying. Several production facilities in Brazil have now started to brush three times in order to further reduce the dust content in the fibres. TYPE 4 has only been exported over the past few years.
“Bucha” is the Brazilian tow, which is produced when the fibre is brushed.
